These are the first versions of Blu and Pinky that I drew on my computer. I drew them by hand using Paint Shop Pro. They started out with arms. Pinky started out with breasts. I don’t know why? Pinky is a girl. Girls have breasts, I guess? I have since changed it though. It just didn’t look right. This is also when I named them.

I used these versions and ran them through A.I. I gave them wings and created 3D versions of them. I used mostly Grok to create images and video.

Then I used VideoStudio to do some final editing.

Then, with the help of A.I., I created a whole story for them. Their backgrounds and origins.

The Story

Artist Backstory

The artist was a 10-year-old girl who carried a small sketchbook everywhere. She filled page after page with the same two birds — one blue and wild, one pink and sharp — because they felt like the best friends she didn’t have yet. One warm afternoon she sat under a large willow tree near the forest edge and drew them bigger than usual. She fell asleep with the sketchbook open in her lap. While she slept, old forest magic rose from the willow roots, passed through the page, and lifted both drawings into the real world at the same moment. When she woke, the page was blank and two small sets of footprints led away into the trees. She closed the sketchbook, smiled, and never drew those two birds again.

How Blu and Pinky Met

They never truly met. They were drawn side by side, brought to life side by side, and took their first steps in the dirt side by side. There was no introduction, no chance encounter, and no moment of discovery. They simply existed together from the first second, already a pair, and have stayed that way ever since.

Blu

Blu is energetic, impulsive, and always the first to charge into something. He acts before he thinks, talks loud, and recovers from failure almost instantly. He is overconfident and competitive, convinced he can handle whatever comes next. He shows care for Pinky through action rather than words, and he is the one who usually creates the problem they both have to solve.

Pinky

Pinky is more cautious and observant than Blu. She notices trouble early and is quick to point it out, often with a sharp or sarcastic line. She is expressive, reactive, and loyal — even when she knows Blu’s idea is going to go wrong, she still stays with him. Once chaos starts she adapts fast and holds her own. She is the one who usually sees the bigger problem coming.
